We are pleased to announce the placement of Jay Kaneshiro as VP, Operations at Zippy's Restaurants. Kaneshiro will be based out of Zippy's corporate office in Honolulu, HI.
Prior to joining Zippy's Restaurants, Kaneshiro served as a VP, Operations at Desert Island Restaurants where he was responsible for overseeing multi-unit operations for two restaurant concepts, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Macaroni Grill.
At Zippy's Restaurants, Kaneshiro will be instrumental in the strategy and execution of the company's expansion into the mainland US and other markets. He will also oversee the operations for Zippy's current 24 restaurant base and provide effective leadership for all 1,600 employees. Kaneshiro received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Hawaii.
